Hello World!
My name is Ryan D. Garrod and I am a 3rd year student at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY.
My major is in New Media Arts and Technology and my minor is in Communications through Advertising and Public Relations. I love them both and have effectively tied them together through the years of learning. For example, if you want to print something, you need to understand what your printing on, whether it be on screen or printed paper. You need to understand the problems of both and adapt. But in order to print something, you need to have content in which to print! Advertisements, page design and layout, and digital design are all of my focus areas. Combining my major and my minor has led me to have a great advantage over many people looking for Advertising and Public Relations careers.
The blog I have created is a very diverse blog. It exemplifies my interests of Politics, our economic state, the world we live in, the world I have seen first hand, the leisure’s needed to escape the stress, and the cultural differences of our world.
